As a quality inspector, your responsibilities will include reviewing products and materials during the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality standards, adhere to the Bill of Materials (BOM), and meet specified measurements and specifications. Safety is paramount, and you must follow all applicable safety procedures, including requesting assistance from coworkers when necessary. Flexibility is essential, as the job may require overtime, a flexible schedule, and occasional weekend work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's)
- Inspect manufactured goods for defects, quality, proper materials, and correct size and specifications
- Locate products and monitor product quality
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas during downtime
- Report production data
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Proficient in quality control inspections and tests throughout manufacturing
- Ability to inspect materials, parts, and products at different production stages
- Record observations and suggest process improvements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation necessary
- 1 year of Metal Fabrication experience preferred
- 2nd Shift: $19.00/hr
- 3rd Shift: $20.00/hr
